I got one of these a few months back, and he is really cute! He indeed blinks his eyes and swings his head back and forth. However, a few things: 1) The motor is kinda distracting. The reason I don't say "loud" is because it's not loud, but it is a very distinct noise; so much so that I could hear it overtop of my computer's fans. The blinking noise is semi-nerve wracking as well. I eventually got used to both though, which brings us to... 2) I don't know how long it took me to notice, but he kinda semi-died I'm guessing in the past 2 weeks or so. As he became part of the background, he just kinda did his thing and I didn't really pay attention after a while. But one day I did notice he was no longer moving, and when I picked him up, his back was noticeably hot. I unplugged him for an hour or so and moved him from my PC to my cablebox (it has a USB 1.1 port on the front). At first I thought the motor had burnt out, but he kicked back on, but this time only half-blinking and no neck movement. Eventually he got back to blinking as normal, but he only moves his head/neck when he wants to - usually when I plug him in for a few hours. He was in a Japanese package, so I assume the product IS Japanese, so I'm wondering if the power meted out to a J-USB port is different than something hooked up to a power supply plugged into a 120v plug here. Even if all he does is blink, I still love him. ^^; Besides, I don't miss the neck movement that much because I was hoping those wings moved on their own in the first place. =P
