I don't think it necessarily looks smaller than it is online, the strap was a bit shorter than I expected, but that's not such a bad thing. I was slightly disappointed, because I think that it looks a bit better in the pictures online (a bit more shiny and glossy), but overall, very cute, and I'm happy that I got one before they all sold out again ^_~
